I study multigenerational social mobility in Switzerland (1500–2000). My research examines how economic status, occupations, and political advantage persist across families over centuries, and how mechanisms such as inheritance, social closure, and marital sorting shape long-run mobility.
My work combines historical microdata construction with quantitative methods, including record linkage, econometric mobility models, and network analysis.
